Bethany Women Getting More Involved

Bethany Colony weaving unit is the one activity in the leprosy colony that has the potential to generate income so it is frustrating that it is being managed quite badly with samples being developed late. In the last year or so we have been trying to encourage the women to take more interest in the daily running of the place rather than just coming to work and weaving. The efforts are beginning to bear fruit as they question the way the supervisor is working and suggest better ways to work.
