MESH Fair Trade Sales to The Czech Republic

Michaela Kreuterová, a Czech national living in Delhi (see news item Media Volunteer for MESH) has introduced MESH products to The Society for Fair Trade, a Czech organisation with three shops that previously purchased from European Fair Trade wholesale companies. In the last month they have made their first direct purchase order for handicrafts from India, through MESH. Michaela reported that Fair Trade is a new concept in the Czech Republic and is just beginning to gain momentum, this first order is modest but if all goes well we might expect to receive more orders in the future.
