Fair Trade Forum India
This is the back page of a recent newsletter from Fair Trade Forum India (FTFI)..very nice it is too. MESH is a member of FTFI and happy to be associated with an organisation that works on projects as varied as studies of living wage and child labour; training of trainers in Fair Trade and support programmes to build capcity of it's members as well as a nation-wide brand building exercise.
Fair Trade Forum India's annual convention is next week here in India alongside the WFTO AGM and MESH will be there. In a recent survey I conducted across a small number of our international customers I found that most wanted MESH to continue as a member of WFTO as it gave credibility to what we do. I hope in time that those same customers will come to see that our membership of Fair Trade Forum India gives us all the credibility we need as fair trade partners.
