Tariq in MESH on 25th January 2014 with international Buyers.

Tariq Ahmed is from a family of Kashmiri embroiderers who usual work on pashmina or semi pashmina shawls and stoles but also on saris and suits. He was in MESH this week to meet international buyers, stun us with the quality of his work and for us to better understand, photograph and promote his products. He and his two brothers are all people with physical disabilities but tremendous talent and their father is an artist with a needle and thread. His trip was paid for from MESH's LSMA project funded by SMC/Sida.
