Natural jute fibres dyed with vegetable dyes then braided and hand stitched make these baskets wonderful eco treasures, kind to the environment in production and totally safe and compostable when their life is finished.

Women with disabilities working in Integrated Development Trust, a fair trade workshop have made the baskets and use their earnings to contribute to the family income and sometimes to ensure a sibling or nephew or niece gets properly educated.

In it's own way each basket bought is a contribution to the efforts of women with disabilities to experience social and economic inclusion.
