Fact Sheets Going Abroad!

The Fair Trade Fact Sheets compiled over the last couple of years by Gabriel from MESH to help our own producer groups understand each Fair Trade Principle and the compliance criteria, have been standardized and sent off to WFTO Asia today. Written in English in simple language they were then translated into Hindi always with the intention that they be available for anyone to use. We hope by sharing them with WFTO Asia they might get wider circulation.
When Gabriel first started working as Producer Development Social Worker in MESH he knew nothing about Fair Trade and found it difficult to get any useful contextual material on-line to learn from and to share with producers. So he put it together himself and we were lucky enough to get funding to get the sheets translated into Hindi from Soir-IM Swedish Organisation for Individual Relief.
We look forward to seeing them used more widely.
